There was this terrible smell in the living room. It got worse the hotter it got - so if the heating was on or the weather was warm - phoaw - it just got worse There was always a lot of giggling between the two tots - and at tea time at our house - our parents made sure we couldnt leave the table until we had eaten all the food on our table The table we had was a drop l;eaf table with drawers either side. It was poushed up against the wall next to the stairs and the twins would sit either side of the table with the drawers in front of them I had wondered what was in the drawers - and low and behold what a stinking rotting mess ! The two little terros had been placing unwanted and unliked food in the drawers - and laughing evertime they did so. They were so secretive - Janice was the adventurous one and Louise didnt like to 'snithc'.
